  2. How To Install Chess Fonts

  4. To use ChessWriter you must install the screen and PostScript fonts on your system. 
  5.  
  6. Installation can be accomplished in two easy steps.
  7.  
  8.     1.    System 6.xx Macs: Use Font/DA Mover to put the chess screen fonts into your System file. Move all sizes of all chess fonts. 
  9. System 7 Macs: drag the font suitcast onto the System folder icon.  The System knows what to do with it.
  10.  
  11.     2.    Drag each of the PostScript Font icons (they look like a letter dropping onto a laser printer) into your System folder.
  12.  
  13. PS: If the chess boards in ChessWriter look ragged or have a roman font instead of chess pieces, then the screen chess fonts have not been successfully installed.
